Sockenwolldiät
Ihr wißt ja schon, daß ich meine Sockenwollberge abbauen möchte.
Nun denn. Ich war im Keller und habe jetzt wirklich ALLES gefunden und rausgeholt. Das sind meine Schätzchen. Insgesamt 9,4 Kilo.

Das Foto ist reichlich verwackelt. Nein, nicht weil ich so schlecht fotografieren kann und die Lichtverhältnisse gerade megaschlecht sind hier. Das ist Absicht, weil ich nicht möchte daß ihr die Wolle genau erkennt. Könnte ja ein Wolldieb unterwegs sein ;-)

Na, zu viel Kaffee erwischt? ;O)
Liebe Susan, Dein Berg ist nicht schlecht, meiner ist größer *g*, aber leider besitze ich keine Strima (oder Gottseidank, halt Gott sei Dank muss man ja jetzt schreiben)
Bei mir wirds daher mit dem Abbauen viel langsamer gehen.
Aber gerade deshalb find ichs ja gut, dass man bei der Wolldiät die Punkte fürs nix-kaufen kriegt, und nicht für die fertigen Paare :-)

Ja das finde ich auch gut. Sonst ist es ja nicht gerecht. Ich bekomme locker 2 PAare am Tag mit der Strima hin. Mit der Hand dauert das halt doch viel länger.
Ich habe jetzt erst einmal die fiesen Sachen gewickelt. Die schönen Schätzchen verwahre ich mir für den SChluß der Diät, damit ich mich ordentlich belohnen kann.

Hallo Susan,
habe mir jetzt auch vorgenommen, meinen Berg abzubauen. Mal sehen, wenn ich Lust habe, werde ich morgen mal meinen gesamten Stash sortieren und zählen. Konnte allerdings gestern mal wieder nicht widerstehen, ein Knäuel Sockenwolle in einem tollen Lila von Marina mitzunehmen. Mal sehen, wielange ich jetzt standhaft bleibe.
Wünsche Dir beim Abbau viel Erfolg und das mit der Belohnung zum Schluss ist auch eine gute Idee.

need explanation please!
Am I the only one wondering about the wool thief comments? I don’t get that, was that meant to be a joke? Nevertheless, your stash of sock yarn is amazing. I have some sock yarn but nearly not as many skeins as you have. Surprisingly, I even have a small number of skeins imported from Germany. I love them all!

Good, I thought I’m loosing my German sense of humor
Hello Susan
Good, I thought I’m loosing my German sense of humor! I like many kinds of yarn, every time I'm in Germany or I know of someone who travels to Germany I have a long list of yarn to bring back. I prefer skeins of natural fiber yarn not carried by big craft chains - hand-dyed silks, alpaca, cashmeres corn, wool and bamboo fiber. I love unfortunately hard to find Blue Sky Alpac’s, Brushed Suri which feels like mohair but is softer, and looks like angora but doesn’t shed as much. Or another of my favorite “look at” yarns are the yarn from Tilli Thomas, like Purple Reign, a hand-dyed silk woven with indigo-colored Swarovski crystals. Now all these yarns I adore and I have some of them in my stash but I don’t like to use it until I have a really great project. We went to Peru last summer and I purchased a lot of raw alpaca for spinning I even was fortunate to buy half an ounce of Vicuna fiber.
